Objectives
To aid in ensuring that SWCorp’s financial and operational management complies with applicable laws, regulations and directives, ensuring that resources are utilised prudently, efficiently, and effectively to achieve organisational goals.
Functions
- To assist in conducting financial audits of the organisation’s systems and procedures through inspections, reviews and verifications to determine whether internal controls are adequate and effective based on the annual audit plan.
- To assist in conducting performance reviews of the organisation to determine whether operations are carried out efficiently, effectively, economically, and appropriately, and to propose recommendations for improving operations based on the annual audit plan.
